Shaun Harrington

Shaun’s interest I radio started back in 1990 when he went to see Phillip Schofield present a Radio 1 Roadshow. He thought ‘I’d love to do that’! That inspired him to join a local hospital radio station to get the feel for radio. He presented a variety of shows and took to the roads to host discos to get used to public displays. He then got the chance to present traffic and travel news across the UK on a variety of radio stations and BBC stations including One here in Sheffield. Shaun then presented shows on Forces Radio and later joined a company with various radio stations across the UK and ended up hosting the drive time show. This lead him to presenting the ‘most listened to show’ according to audience figures and a pay rise! Shaun is now pleased to Join RB1 radio and if anyone wants to buy him a latte in Crystal Peaks then let him know the time!
