Police now want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may hold information about the collision.
Roads Policing Officers are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian suffered serious injuries in a reported fail to stop collision earlier this month.
At around 1.45am on Saturday 25 March, emergency services were called to reports of a collision on Sheffield Road in Swallownest.
It is understood that a woman in her 30s got out of a taxi on Sheffield Road shortly after 1.30am and was involved in a collision with a vehicle. This vehicle did not stop at the scene.
The woman was found lying in the road and suffered serious injuries.
