CCTV issued following armed robbery in Rotherham

Enquiries are continuing and now CCTV images have been released.

Officers have released CCTV images as part of their investigation into an armed robbery in Rotherham in early January.

At around 8.10pm on the evening of 5 January, it is reported that an unknown man entered Brampton Local on Knollbeck Avenue carrying a knife. He threatened members of staff and asked them to open the till, before leaving with an amount of cash.

Enquiries are continuing and now CCTV images have been released.

Anyone with information who can help South Yorkshire Police with their investigation is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 870 of 5 January.
