School Closures

Schools work hard stay open wherever possible, but circumstances may mean that they have to make a decision to close the school, or alter school start and/or finish times.

They may have to close in bad weather, or in the event of other emergencies such as loss of heating or other services.

The decision to close a school will be taken by headteacher at an individual school.

If school closures are happening, you may be notified by text message by your child's school. If you are unsure, please check your school's website or social media before travelling.
